Chloe Kibutzany - Head Coach

Chloe Started swimming when she was 12 years old in Longmont Colorado. She swam all the way through her high school career and became Regional and State champion in multiple events both her junior and senior years of high school. After high school, she decided to pursue her olympic dream and moved to California to train with one of the top teams in the nation. While there, she won Zones in her free solo category and placed 5th in the nation competing against past olympians. After retiring her swimming career, she moved back to Colorado and started Trident Artistic Swimming. She has coached multiple athletes to become regional and state champions and is excited to see what the future holds!

 
 
 
 

Angel Coffin - Assistant Coach

Coach Angel began her artistic swimming journey at age 9, with the Palm Beach Coralytes. Growing up on the Coast of Florida, it was only natural to have a love for water. Since then, she has spent her synchro career competing, coaching, and performing professionally on the Aqualillies. Angel’s goal as a coach is to empower the next generation of athletes to chase their dreams, in and out of the water. 

Heda Masters - Assistant Coach

Heda started synchro swimming at the age of 9, back in Czech Republic where she was born and raised. During her active swimming years, she competed on a national and international level in Europe, but always representing her home club SKUP Synchro Olomouc

Her passion for synchro and strong friendships that she has built during her active swimming years, were the main reason why she wanted to stay involved going forward.  She started coaching in 2001 and judging a couple years later.  In 2008, after completing FINA school for judges she became FINA Judge G for the Czech Republic.  In  2012  she expanded her coaching experience during a season of coaching for Lausanne Natation team in Switzerland.

In 2017, her family relocated to Arizona where Heda joined the SAZ Scottsdale team as the U12 team coach, and continued coaching for the team till 2021 when she moved to Colorado with her family. She is now coaching with TAS and excited to see where the season takes the team.

 

Lauren Bortnowski - Stroke Coach

Lauren is excited to be entering her second season with Trident Artistic Swimming as a stroke and strength coach. She has enjoyed 10 years of helping young swimmers of a wide range of abilities improve and succeed, coaching both with the Front Range Barracudas and serving as the aquatics director and head coach at the Broomfield Swim and Tennis Club. Through instilling love for the sport and prioritizing skill and confidence building, Lauren has had multiple swimmers qualify for both short course and long course state championships and led the Cudas’ 8 & under team to 9 consecutive championship titles.

As a competitor, Lauren raced her way to being a Texas 5A high school state finalist, sectional finalist, and junior national qualifier. She then went on to swim as a scholarship athlete, sprint freestyle specialist and conference runner-up for the University of Denver. After all these years, she still likes to go fast sometimes and is currently the Colorado Masters state record holder in the 30-34 Women’s 50 Meter

Freestyle.
